Wallpaper

Titanium dioxide is used in wallpaper bases in cases in which particular (wet) opacity and concealment of the substrate and/or of the paper bases are required.

SACHTLEBEN R 320 is a micronized white pigment based on an organically coated rutile. The type and quantity of the additive are, at the same time, optimized for good compatibility with binders, easy wetting and easy dispersion.

HOMBITAN LW is a micronized white pigment based on an uncoated anatase. Thanks to its slight bluish hue, which is typical of anatases, HOMBITAN LW is suitable for all tints and colours.

SACHTOLITH is a pure zinc sulfide pigment. It is precipitated from highly purified solutions and refined into a white pigment in a number of complex operations. Of the three grades available, SACHTOLITH L is especially suitable for use in paper.
