Oleum: A vital raw material
As one of the world's leading manufacturers of titanium dioxide via the sulfate route, Sachtleben has one of Europe's largest sulfuric acid plants. High-concentration oleum is used on the one hand for the production of titanium dioxide while, on the other, we also supply more than half of German industry's oleum requirements. This high-purity raw material is used, inter alia, for the production of hydrofluoric acid for use in fluorine chemistry. Oleum is also indispensable for the surfactants in detergents and for the production of Nylon. You too can obtain 96 % and 78 % sulfuric acid for your production needs from us.Contact
